Find an item or recipe ID

Optional reference help for when you need an exact record.

What you’ll leave with

A record type, ID and source build.

Before you start

  • A name or numeric ID

Open the recipe reference

Use the Database link in the header whenever you want the full reference view. On a profession page it keeps you in the same profession and reveals the complete recipe table.

Why this matters

The extra details stay available without getting in the way of the guides.

Open the database

Search a name or ID

Choose Items for an object or material, and Recipes for the craft itself. Exact IDs appear before related matches. A recipe’s spell ID and its output’s item ID identify different records.

Why this matters

An ID needs a record type to identify the right thing.

Search names and IDs

Include the build when sharing

Keep the name, record type, ID and displayed build together in your notes. The data may change between builds.

Why this matters

Build information helps someone else reproduce the lookup.

A quick note before you get going

The catalog contains imported records. A missing result does not prove that something is absent from the game.
