Know what to gather before you craft

Choose something to make and turn its ingredients into a simple materials list.

What you’ll leave with

The quantities for your next batch, ready to compare with your bags and bank.

Before you start

  • A recipe you want to make
  • How many times you want to craft it

Choose your recipe

Find your profession and open its materials helper. Choose a recipe your character can make. The ingredients shown are the materials used for one crafting attempt.

Why this matters

You only need the materials for your chosen project, not everything the profession might use.

Find my profession’s materials helper

Choose how many times to craft

Enter a small number of attempts in the helper. It multiplies each ingredient for you. For example, if one attempt needs 2 pieces of a material, 5 attempts need 10 pieces.

Why this matters

Planning by crafting attempts avoids guessing how many ingredients a batch will consume.

Check what you already have

Compare the list with your bags and bank. If the plan needs 10 pieces and you already have 4, you only need 6 more. Copy the list to keep it handy while you collect the rest.

Why this matters

The total needed for a craft is different from the amount you still need to find.

Keep your first batch small

Before spending a lot, confirm the recipe and quantities in game. Make your first batch, then check what you want to do next. If you are leveling a profession, allow for the possibility that some attempts won’t give a skill-up.

Why this matters

You can adjust your next batch with what you’ve learned instead of being stuck with an oversized shopping list.

A quick note before you get going

The helper calculates ingredients for crafting attempts. It does not predict skill-ups, items produced, market prices or what you already own.
